After her family of warriors sacrifices themselves for the country, Ella Young is left all alone. Seeing her vulnerability, her college roommate takes advantage of the situation, bullying her and stealing Ella's scholarship using her influence. Trapped in helplessness, Ella seeks help from the school counselor, only to be dismissed and eventually expelled.
