Mourning for Greed

While Gwen Lane desperately needs $100,000 for her surgery, her future daughter-in-law demands the same amount as a wedding gift. Swayed by his girlfriend, Gwen’s son, Brian Smith, cruelly ignores his mother’s plight and instead arranges a funeral for her—despite the fact that she is still alive. Using the funeral as a scheme to collect donations, he deceives everyone into believing Gwen has passed away, just to secure the money for his girlfriend’s gift.
